Let me take you on a journey to the captivating Cappadocia region of Turkey, where I was born. This breathtaking place is known for its hot air balloons and enchanting natural formations called "Fairy Chimneys." It's no wonder that my passion for art and creativity was nurtured in such a unique environment.
While I initially pursued a Computer Engineering major in university, I quickly realized it wasn't my true calling. The allure of Industrial Design was irresistible, and I made the switch. Fast forward to living in the artistic hub of Milano, Italy, where I spent two years earning my master's degree. It was during this time that I discovered my love for sketching as an essential form of communication for us industrial designers.
Inktober has been a significant part of my artistic journey for many years. With unwavering dedication, I've strived to complete each Inktober challenge, except for the eventful year of 2020 (thanks, Covid!). The support and growth I've witnessed during this time have been nothing short of inspiring. I now have a fantastic community of followers who join me on this exhilarating artistic ride.
One thing I love doing for my incredible followers is recording the step-by-step process behind my sketches. It's my way of giving back and helping junior artists, prospective designers, and aspiring architects gain insight into how I construct objects from scratch. By sharing these behind-the-scenes glimpses, I hope to inspire and empower fellow creatives in their own artistic endeavors.
