THIS WEEK’S TAKEOVER ARTIST!
Hey everyone! I'm Carlos, the artist behind @n33fti, and I'm super excited to connect with you all through this Inktober takeover!
I grew up in Mexico before moving to the U.S. for undergrad, and now I’m based in the Washington, DC area. I’ve been doodling since I was a kid but got back into it seriously during the pandemic as a way to manage stress. During my time in the MBA/M.Ed. program at @dardenmba, I explored mindfulness and meditation, and I found that working with traditional inks, watercolors, and digital art on my iPad was a great way to relax and unwind.
I've been lucky enough to have my artwork featured in both online and print publications, as well as in digital and physical galleries. I’m always evolving as an artist and love pulling inspiration from my travels (over 50 countries so far!), music, movies, and everyday life. My style ranges from black and white inks to abstracts and moody, vibe-driven themes. For me, art is all about connection, and if my work brings a smile or laugh to someone, I consider that a big win!
