Hello everyone! My name is Anna Sanat (@anna_sanat), and I am an artist from Ukraine. My journey into the world of art has been a long and winding one, deeply rooted in a passion that I’ve nurtured since childhood. It wasn’t until I turned 26 that I took a significant step toward realizing my dream by enrolling in a university design program. The decision to pursue formal education in design marked a turning point in my life, solidifying my commitment to becoming an artist.
After completing my studies, I made a bold move to Turkiye, a country that has been my home for the past seven years. Here, I have found inspiration and growth as I continue to immerse myself in my craft. While I like to joke that I draw every day, the truth is that my love for art is a constant presence in my life. I’m currently delving deeper into the realms of painting and book illustration, areas that allow me to express my creativity and explore new dimensions of my artistic abilities.
My favorite art materials—ink, watercolor, and colored pencils—are tools through which I convey my love for intricate details. Each stroke, each color choice, and each line are carefully considered, as I strive to bring my visions to life with precision and care. Whether I’m working on a complex illustration or a simple painting, the joy I find in these materials is undeniable, and they have become integral to my artistic identity.
