Let's Talk Botany
My name is Baptiste Chatellier, and I am thrilled to showcase my work as a French multidisciplinary artist specializing not only in illustration but wood engraving and tattooing as well!

I am writing to you from Le Pouliguen, a seaside town in France. When I was younger I pursued my education in Nantes, where the contemporary art scene inspired me. Following that, I worked as a graphic designer and creative director in Paris for a few years. Later on, I moved to Reunion Island, located in the Indian Ocean, to study the art of tattooing.
While there, I honed my dot work technical abilities on wood and drew inspiration from the sea and its vast universe. I am committed to advancing my expertise in woodcraft and managing the entire creative process, from selecting woods to shaping the board and designing the final drawings.
As a tattoo artist, my style is heavily influenced by the engraving technique, incorporating dot work with an electric machine or hand poke. Currently residing in the South of France's Basque Country, I continue to refine my skills in engraving, illustration, and tattooing.
