INKTOBER52 PROMPT NO. 31
Happy Friday, my Inky brothers and sisters-
I loved your WAGON submissions. We got everything from little kid wagons to station wagons, pioneer wagons to dragon wagons, and even a few space wagons!
I was wishing for one of those fat-tired wagons this week as I hauled a bunch of my people to the beach a few hours away this week. We only got to spend an hour there because a wicked-awesome thunderstorm rolled in and they closed the beach, but I gotta say- it was enough. This recently-Arizonan girl had her happiness bucket filled to the brim with that first big wave. I’m always surprised by that first taste of salty water and also how soul-refreshing the ocean is for me. I don’t need fancy restaurant or the hottest concert to have a good time. Usually, it’s almost always the really SIMPLE things like good chocolate, silly word games with my family, and going for a fast walk with a chatty friend that enrich my life so much.
This week, show me the SIMPLE beauty or observations in your world. As for me, I’ll be hunting for the leftover chocolate mousse in the freezer…
