Hi, my name is Anastasia Suvorova, I’m a graphic artist and printmaker, I live and work in the city of St. Petersburg, which Dostoevsky wrote about in his novel Crime and Punishment.
My main job is teaching painting and drawing to teenagers. When I was a child I had problems with attention and hyperactivity. And the only way to make me sit still is to give me a pencil. The habit has remained even now, and the effect of my hobby was specialized education in fine art and participation in several creative associations.
Previously, I worked as a book illustrator, but now my attention is focused on personal creativity and big projects. I recently opened my first big personal exhibition and I'm already planning the next one!
Enjoy our featured artist and friend of the week, Anastasia Suvorova! Her work is featured today on our story. She is an inspiration for us as we enter the new year! Check it out on our Instagram page today!
Each week we have a different artist share their work. These are a few of our most recent favorites!
