Hi, my name is Hardik Singh, (a.k.a. Cretalyst) and I’m honored to be this week’s featured Inktober artist! I am a freelance graphic designer, lettering artist, and calligrapher. I am currently pursuing my MFA in Applied Arts in New Delhi, India. I was always fascinated by the details of Victorian, and Baroque artworks. Letters for me are a celebration of the human spirit of communication cultivated through thousands of years.
I started my freelance work as “Cretalyst” at the start of the pandemic lockdown and developed my understanding of art, design, and calligraphy during this period. This was the first Inktober that I succeeded in completing so I feel even more fortunate to get this feature!
Enjoy our featured artist and friend of the week, Hardik Singh! His work is featured today on our story. He is an inspiration for us as we recover from Inktober 2022 and get back into the rhythm of Inktober52. Check it out on our Instagram page today!
Each week we have a different artist share their work. These are a few of our most recent favorites!

INKTOBER52 GOES ALL YEAR LONG!

INKTOBER52 PROMPT NO.51 IS "VICTORIAN"
This year we want to have a very Victorian Christmas! This holiday season put your pens to work with this unique style.
The Victorian era was a time of great change and growth in the United Kingdom, and this is reflected in the art produced during this period. Victorian artists were influenced by a variety of factors, including the Industrial Revolution, colonialism, and the Victorian interest in science and exploration.
This is reflected in the era’s detailed and regal pieces of art! So show us what you’ve got!
