Hello, I’m Monika Wyłoga, an illustrator and painter in Warsaw, Poland. Alongside my fiancé Anouar and our treasured pup Lil, I call this vibrant city home. After graduating from the Academy of Fine Arts in Łódź, I've relentlessly refined my drawing skills, gravitating towards monochromatic expressions and a realistic style that delves into texture intricacies. I love nature and draw mostly the animals and plants I find interesting.
This year, I embraced the Inktober challenge, which is a huge test of patience and creativity that I wholeheartedly enjoyed. I’ve used crayons and markers since childhood and on during my artistic journey. As I dive into my creative process, step by step, I continue to find joy in portraying resilient women, a theme that extends to my work on theater posters, newspapers, and textiles.
Inspired by a sojourn in Morocco, the trip brought a new vigor to my art. My paintings often feature my dog Lil, but I try to switch it up. Be sure to check out more of my work on the Inktober account today by clicking HERE!
